𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 - 𝟮𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰
'𝗔 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗢𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘀' marks Andy’s first solo exhibition since 2020’s ‘𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀: 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴’ at the 𝟮𝟬-𝟮𝟭 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 @2021visualarts , and his first in Sheffield since ‘𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀: 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝗮’ at 𝗖𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁 @cupolacontemporaryart in 2019. This exhibition features many works being publicly displayed for the first time. While some pieces may be familiar, others will be new to many people. Andy’s art, known for its night-time cityscapes, austere buildings, and empty streets, has taken on new resonance since 2020, when such scenes became a common reality.
