The Amber Glow Of Bramall Lane Football Stadium

Since my show, I've had a few conversations about the amber glow of Sheffield's Bramall Lane football stadium and the reasons for it. I thought it was to do with sodium floodlights keeping the grass growing as well as melting any ice. If you have an idea do give me a head's up as I'd love to know.

With living just 1-2 streets away from the stadium I get to see when it's so bright, vibrant and at times saturated. The glow does seem dependent on the density of mist/fog and just how heavy the clouds above are. And snow seems to provide a variety of effects too.
